Position Description:

As AEG Fuels continues to grow, we are recruiting for newly created position to join our General and Business Aviation Sales team, based in Europe. 

 

Our sales executives are essential in achieving growth, account penetration and maximizing sales profitability. The position will be focused on sales to general aviation operators within Europe, with a secondary focus on the FBO supply market. While simultaneously pursuing new clients and business opportunities, we are looking for a self-starter that can drive growth within an existing portfolio. 

 

We expect Sales Executives will be adept at identifying new business prospects, assessing potential opportunities to determine viability and optimal approaches, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. It is essential for the successful candidate to manage multiple tasks seamlessly and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.

 

Key duties and responsibilities: 

  • Developing long term relationships within the General Aviation market 
  • Evaluate market conditions, develop account strategies and actions plans to expand current accounts and penetrate new markets
  • Agree and achieve quarterly and yearly objectives and target.
  • Use of Salesforce to compile CRM and sales pipeline updates
  • Ability to make strategic, analytical decisions while negotiating business deals
  • Responsible for customer profiling, service and retention 
  • Price quotes, review quote activity and initiate follow ups 
  • Respond to and manage customer tenders 
  • Attend industry events and trade shows 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • MUST BE ABLE to speak either French, Italian, or German.
  • MUST BE currently located in France, Italy, or Germany.
  • High School Diploma / GCSE level or higher (or equivalent qualification)
  • 5+ years’ experience in the aviation industry ideally in a sales environment 
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Office, Outlook, Excel)
  • Demonstrates a customer service mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage large and/or complex corporate accounts
  • Smart, proactive, self-starter with a sense of urgency and “can do” attitude
  • Strong team player


Recommended Experience:

  • Associates / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a plus
  • Aviation Fuel / Flight Operations knowledge
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Multilingual a plus
