Specialized Reading Instructor, ESY Program

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking Wilson Reading Instructors, Orton Gillingham Instructors, and LiPS instructors to provide specialized reading services to students in grades k-12 who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Advanced planning of curriculum 


• Communicating with parents


• Coordinating services with related service providers and learning center teachers


• Writing progress reports at conclusion of program

QUALIFICATIONS

• Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required


• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

SCHEDULE:

• July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026


• 9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday 


• (Specific hours per day and schedule will be dependent on caseload)


• Additional 30 minutes per day for planning


• One additional day between July 30 and August 16 to write student progress reports
