About Us


Royal is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on an extensive construction program at Tyndall AFB, FL. The assignment will last one year (base) and two optional years. 


Your Role and Responsibilities


  • Reviewing Submittals: Evaluating technical documents, such as design blueprints and product specifications, to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Addressing Contractor Questions: Providing clear and concise responses to inquiries from contractors regarding the design, function, and installation of mechanical systems.
  • Responding to RFIs (Requests for Information): Managing and responding to RFIs from various stakeholders, clarifying project details, and resolving any ambiguities.
  • Construction Inspection: Conducting on-site inspections of mechanical installations during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.


The Criteria for Joining Our Team


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer license
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer on large, complex, multimillion-dollar DoD construction projects.
  • Experience with Resident Management Systems (RMS) and Microsoft Office experience.
