Location and Flexibility
The Senior Manager, Delivery is an integral part of our Dubai team at TELUS Digital. This is an onsite (in-office) role, located in Dubai, UAE, with travel expected within the GCC.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager, Delivery, you will be a core member of our Middle East team, accountable for leading end-to-end delivery across complex, multidisciplinary engagements. Acting as the primary client-facing lead, you will own the overall program narrative, ensure alignment between strategy, design, and execution, and drive clear decision-making with senior stakeholders. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, Strategy, Research, and Design to deliver high-quality outcomes, while establishing strong, trusted client partnerships on the ground. This role requires both hands-on program leadership and the ability to challenge, shape, and guide clients to achieve meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
Act as a core founding team member of TELUS Digital in the Middle East, partnering closely with the Managing Director to build and scale the regional delivery capability, including ways of working, governance, and team culture
Own end-to-end delivery across engagements, acting as the single point of accountability for client outcomes, quality, timelines, and overall program success
Serve as the primary client-facing lead, building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and confidently guiding, challenging, and influencing client decisions
Drive the overall product vision and program narrative, ensuring a clear and compelling connection between research, strategy, design, and execution
Lead multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Product, Strategy, Research, and Design, ensuring tight alignment, accountability, and seamless collaboration across practices
Establish and enforce strong delivery governance, including clear cadences, decision-making frameworks, escalation paths, and approval mechanisms to maintain momentum and clarity
Lean on your deep client services experience to drive effective decision-making on complex issues of scope, design, architecture, and process
Create and continuously evolve the integrated TELUS Digital project plan, aligning stakeholders around priorities and driving focused, convergent execution
Identify risks early and proactively course-correct, ensuring issues are surfaced, understood, and resolved before impacting delivery or client confidence
Engage directly with clients on a regular basis, managing day-to-day interactions, scope, and overall relationship, with an expectation of meaningful on-site presence during key phases of delivery
Proactively build and deepen relationships across client stakeholders and functions, expanding engagement beyond initial points of contact to strengthen influence, unlock opportunities, and drive long-term partnership growth
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in digital delivery, product, program, or consulting roles within a client services environment, leading complex, client-facing engagements
Experience delivering multidisciplinary digital products from discovery through UX design, implementation, and deployment for large enterprise clients
Proven ability to manage complex programs involving multiple senior client stakeholders, driving alignment, decisions, and outcomes
Strong blend of business, user experience, and software delivery acumen, with the ability to connect strategy, design, and execution
Excellent communication skills, with experience structuring and leading workshops, working sessions, and executive-level discussions
Ability to align and mobilize clients and third-party partners around shared goals and delivery outcomes
Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and clearly communicate system, integration, and delivery issues (e.g., APIs, client vs backend, bug management)
Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, and QA
Experience building and expanding relationships across multiple client stakeholders and functions
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership and accountability
Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools within delivery, product, or operational workflows
Bonus Points
Experience working in the Middle East for 5+ years, with a strong understanding of regional business culture, stakeholder dynamics, and operating environments
Professional experience within a leading consulting firm or digital agency, delivering large-scale digital or transformation programs
Industry experience in Financial Services and/or Telecommunications
Experience leading or operating within Agile environments, including applying or scaling Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO, PMP, SAFe)
Proficiency in both English and Modern Standard Arabic
