TITLE: Strengthening Families Coordinator

DIVISION: Children, Youth & Family Services Division (CY&FS)

UNIT: Community Umbrella Agency (CUA)

REPORTS TO: CUA Director of Community Engagement

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

 

THE ORGANIZATION:

Net Community Care is a division of Northeast Treatment Centers (NET), a non-profit organization serving the Philadelphia region. As a designated Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) for the Department of Human Services, Net Community Care operates CUA1 and CUA7, providing comprehensive child welfare services focused on safety, permanency, and family well-being. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, Net Community Care works to stabilize families, support youth development, and ensure children can grow in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. The organization is committed to strengthening communities through collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

 

SUMMARY:

Strengthening Family Coordinators provide support to the overall CUA team. The focus is on working toward the target goals of improving safety, permanency, and well-being of children, youth, and families. The team supports the community’s needs, develops & maintains a network of key community leaders and stakeholders while serving as the primary point of contact between the CUA and the community members within the designated geographic region. Coordinate and support family and community outreach, promote the programs and services offered by the CUA, and provide guidance and feedback to CUA leadership to help address the unique issues, concerns, and needs of the community. Support the planning of community programming, such as: Parent Cafes, Parent Engagement Activities and Training.
