About This Opportunity
As a Software Engineer III on InComm’s Fraud Monitoring Team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of systems that support real‑time fraud detection for high‑volume transaction processing. You will work within established platforms to deliver well‑defined features, improve system reliability and performance, and address production issues as they arise. This role emphasizes building secure, maintainable services and collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and product partners to support critical fraud prevention capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance application features using Java and the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) within existing system architecture.
- Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product partners to understand requirements and deliver well‑defined solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code in alignment with team standards and best practices.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure functional correctness and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects in existing applications with minimal guidance.
- Participate in code reviews by incorporating feedback and providing thoughtful, constructive input.
- Contribute to technical documentation and routine knowledge sharing within the team.
- Maintain awareness of relevant tools, frameworks, and technologies applicable to assigned work.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Linux/UNIX and/or Windows Server environments is a plus.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deploying or supporting cloud‑based applications, is beneficial.
