About the Job Opportunity

We are seeking a high-impact, quota-carrying Government Account Executive to drive full-cycle sales across federal and state government agencies. This role owns the entire revenue lifecycle—from prospecting and opportunity creation through deal closure and expansion—within highly regulated public sector environments.

You will develop strategic relationships, navigate complex procurement processes, and deliver service-based solutions that improve operational performance and compliance outcomes. This is a true hunter–closer role with accountability for pipeline generation, deal execution, and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

Full-Cycle Business Development & Pipeline Generation

  • Prospect and develop new federal and state government opportunities
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual quotas
  • Identify buying centers, funding cycles, and procurement pathways
  • Develop and execute territory and account-based sales strategies

Strategic Sales Execution & Deal Closure

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including discovery, solution design, and negotiation
  • Navigate RFPs, RFQs, and government contracting processes
  • Deliver compelling proposals and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Own pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and deal execution

Customer Engagement & Value-Based Selling

  • Engage executive, procurement, and operational stakeholders
  • Conduct needs assessments aligned to mission, compliance, and budget constraints
  • Position service solutions that drive measurable operational and financial outcomes
  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor in regulated environments

Account Growth & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Expand existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell strategies
  • Partner with operations, legal, and service teams to deliver solutions
  • Ensure successful onboarding and execution of contracted services
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and long-term retention

What You’ll Bring

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience (full-cycle preferred)
  • Experience selling into federal, state, or public sector environments
  • Proven track record of prospecting, pipeline generation, and closing deals
  • Experience navigating government procurement and contracting processes
  • Strong financial, negotiation, and consultative selling skills

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, laboratory, life sciences, or technical services
  • Familiarity with government compliance, regulatory, or funding structures
  • Experience selling service-based or SaaS-enabled solutions

 Who We Want to Meet

  • Act Like an Owner: Demonstrates Accountability & Execution by owning pipeline, quota, and deal outcomes end-to-end
  • Serve with Purpose: Applies Customer Centric thinking to align solutions with government mission and impact
  • Adapt to Thrive: Excels in Managing Ambiguity within complex, evolving public sector environments
  • Collaborate to Win: Uses Influence & Communication to align stakeholders and close multi-party deals
  • Challenge the Status Quo: Leverages Curiosity & Problem Solving to uncover opportunities and drive innovation

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive compensation package with salary, incentives, company ownership/equity, and comprehensive benefits (401k match, health, college debt reduction, and more!)
  • Career and professional development through training, coaching and new experiences.
  • Hybrid culture with new & beautiful workspaces that balance flexibility, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Inclusive and diverse community of passionate professionals learning and growing together.
