Job Type: Part-time, Temp to Perm
Pay: $21-23 per hour
Hours: Mon & Tues 9am - 5pm, Wed & Fri 1pm - 5pm,
Thursday 10am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks and operations within the organization.
- Maintain and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for healthcare professionals.
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Assist with billing and financial transactions.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Measures and records vital signs, patient medical history and chief complaints
- Prepares patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
- Assists physician with exams and other procedures
- Prepares and administers medications and injections with physician authorization
Skills:
- Medical Assistant with clinical hands on experience.
- 1 year of recent experience as an MA & 1 year experience of front desk.
- Knowledge eligibility and insurance authorizations.
- Must be Bilingual Spanish fluent.
- Experience with insurance verification and processing claims.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction.
