Job Description

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

Job Type: Part-time, Temp to Perm

Pay: $21-23 per hour

Hours: Mon & Tues 9am - 5pm, Wed & Fri 1pm - 5pm,

Thursday 10am - 5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks and operations within the organization.
  • Maintain and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for healthcare professionals.
  • Handle patient inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Assist with billing and financial transactions.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Measures and records vital signs, patient medical history and chief complaints
  • Prepares patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
  • Assists physician with exams and other procedures
  • Prepares and administers medications and injections with physician authorization

Skills:

  • Medical Assistant with clinical hands on experience.
  • 1 year of recent experience as an MA & 1 year experience of front desk.
  • Knowledge eligibility and insurance authorizations.
  • Must be Bilingual Spanish fluent.
  • Experience with insurance verification and processing claims.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction.
