Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Process Electrical & Instrumentation General Supervisor at our Carlin operations. The successful candidate will assist with maintenance activities for all major process facilities. They will be responsible for all medium and low voltage equipment, as well as design and oversee technical aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and electrical codes and to ensure safe work performance.

Responsibilities:
- Will be performing computer related functions such as drawings, spreadsheets and database compilations. Demonstrate technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for power distribution and instrumentation systems and components.
- Facilitate ongoing maintenance and enhancements of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other logic control systems.
- Oversee the on-going maintenance of the power distribution switchgear, up to 14KV motors along with their control systems. Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments through field investigations in response to plant requirements; perform additional duties as assigned.
- Provide design input to the engineering consultants to ensure the designs comply with operational and permitting requirements.
- Oversee the construction and commissioning of all process-related capital projects and systems.
- Assist with contractor supervision and management.
- Ensure adherence to established operating procedures regarding safety, environmental standards, and project objectives.
- Ensure all aspects of mineral processing projects in alignment with Nevada Gold Mines' values and vision.
- Implement project delivery systems and tools
- Ensure compliance with all project management systems, including document control, contractor management, scope change control, and oversight during commissioning, as well as procurement of process equipment. Collaborate closely with civil and mechanical capital project management to integrate engineering, design, construction activities, and project administration.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in Electrical and Instrumentation within the mining sector, including prior supervisory experience. required
- Demonstrate experience with project management required
- Minimum of five (5) years field experience in electrical and instrumentation required
- Proven experience with managing contractors and contract management required
- MS Office Experience required
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- SAP applications preferred
