Larson Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Automotive Controller to take ownership of accounting operations across multiple dealerships.

This is a critical leadership role. You will directly impact financial performance, reporting accuracy, and the strength of our accounting team.

If you’ve successfully led dealership accounting and are ready for a bigger seat at the table—this is it.

What You’ll Own

  • Accurate, on-time financial statements and OEM reporting
  • Month-end close, reconciliations, schedules, and cash flow
  • Contracts in transit and deal flow oversight
  • Internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Leadership and development of a 20+ person accounting team
  • Financial insight and reporting for executive decision-making

You won’t just manage the numbers—you’ll drive the operation.

What We Require (Non-Negotiable)

  • Prior experience as an Automotive Controller or Dealership Accounting Manager
  • Strong understanding of dealership financials and manufacturer reporting

Preferred:

  • Multi-store/multi-rooftop experience
  • Experience leading larger accounting teams

If you don’t have dealership accounting leadership experience, this role will not be a fit.

What Sets You Apart

  • You run a tight, accurate accounting office
  • You hold people accountable but know how to build a strong team
  • You’re hands-on and not afraid to dig into problems
  • You communicate clearly with operators and executives
  • You bring structure, consistency, and follow-through

Why Larson Automotive Group

  • High-Impact Role: Direct influence across multiple dealerships
  • Leadership Visibility: Work closely with executive leadership
  • Stability: Established, family-owned organization
  • Growth Opportunity: Expand scope as the group grows
  • Strong Team Environment: Collaborative, performance-driven culture
  • Compensation: $105,000 – $144,000 annually
