Responsibilities What your days look like as a Strategic Account Manager: Strategic Account Management Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise‑level bulk customers across multiple terminals Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue, expand share of wallet, and strengthen long‑term partnerships Act as the primary point of contact for senior customer stakeholders. Business Development Identify and pursue new bulk cargo opportunities across regions and industries Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to proactively position LOGISTEC for growth. Operational Coordination Partner with terminal managers and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of customer contracts Drive consistency in service delivery, KPIs, and operational best practices across locations Lead the resolution of escalated service or performance issues with a solutions-focused approach. Financial Performance Manage P&L performance for assigned accounts, ensuring profitability targets are met or exceeded Analyze volumes, costs, and margins to identify optimization opportunities and improve performance Support budgeting and forecasting related to bulk operations. Cross‑Functional Leadership Work closely with operations, finance, safety, and executive teams to align enterprise priorities Lead internal reviews and customer business reviews (QBRs) to track performance and identify growth opportunities. Safety & Compliance Promote and reinforce LOGISTEC’s safety‑first culture across all operations Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and company standards. Qualifications To succeed as an Strategic Account Manager, you must have: Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred) 7–10+ years of experience in bulk cargo operations, logistics, port operations, or industrial supply chains Bilingualism in French and English is required for this role Proven experience in enterprise account management and business development Strong knowledge of bulk commodities (steel, aggregates, forest products, etc.) Financial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibilities Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
