- Assess students’ mathematical skills using diagnostic tools and data analysis to identify learning gaps.
- Develop and implement individualized and small-group math intervention plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core curriculum and instructional practices.
- Utilize research-based instructional techniques to improve mathematical fluency, problem-solving skills, and conceptual understanding.
- Monitor and track student progress through formative and summative assessments, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Provide direct instruction in a pull-out, push-in, or virtual setting based on student needs and school requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, intervention strategies, and progress reports for stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Math Interventionist is responsible for providing targeted mathematics instruction to students in grades K-12 who require additional support to achieve grade-level proficiency. This role involves working closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and implement research-based strategies to improve mathematical understanding and performance. The Math Interventionist will foster a positive and engaging learning environment to support student growth and success.
