Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position with an annual salary range of $62,222-$88,861. Because of our strong commitment to equity and growth, Impact does not negotiate salaries. Salaries are determined based on years of experience.

In This Position, You Will Be Responsible For:
Learning Environment and Classroom Management
Cultivate a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the enrichment setting, employing effective behavior management strategies while developing strong connections with students, fostering an environment where curiosity and joy thrive.
Instructional Practices
Consistently apply best practices aligned with the Impact instructional model, tailoring teaching methods to the unique nature of enrichment subjects. Infuse creativity and innovation into lessons, engaging students in meaningful exploration and discovery.
Planning and Preparation
Implement engaging lesson plans provided by IPS’ Academics team, adapting them to the dynamic nature of movement, science, and recess activities while anticipating student responses, proactively addressing potential challenges, and plan targeted questions to facilitate comprehensive and effective instruction.
Modeling Core Values
Exemplify and consistently model Impact core values in every interaction while adhering to campus norms that align with the organization's values, creating an inclusive environment where students feel a strong sense of belonging.

Required Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field or actively working towards completing a bachelor's degree (within 2-years of employment required)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in education or related field
Experience working to close the opportunity gap
Passion for equity and gap closing teaching experience with proven record of student growth
License/Certification
Must have or be eligible for certification by OSPI with an endorsement in Elementary Education (within 1-month of employment required)
Must have or be eligible to obtain a CPR certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a food handler certification
