Job Description

The underwriting role would handle day to day account work that would include:

Pricing and coverage review Communication with internal and external personnel Requires strong professional acumen Requires excellent written and verbal communication and will require the ability portray analytical detail Represent Starr and the Risk Management team with our broker partners Work with actuary, legal and underwriting management to develop business plans by account.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $185,000 - 195,000.
