Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications
  • Use hand tools, small power tools, and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and written directions
  • Perform rework or reassembly of units as required to meet quality standards
  • Identify and report quality issues, defects, or process concerns
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and informal leadership to less experienced assemblers as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and company policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant mechanical assembly experience
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and written work instructions
  • Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 40lbs.

Compensation Information:

$20.50
