Job Description

Position Description

This is a technology leader role that is expected to provide comprehensive steering, design, engineering and operational support to a wide spectrum of workspace technologies, office automation systems and all workspace building blocks, be the products or services, on-prem or Cloud. 

We expect this role to possess hands-on configuration and system administration skills, including but not limited to the following technology areas: Electronic Messaging, Unified Communication, Collaboration, Mobility, Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange, GPO, Windows 10 Desktop, Microsoft SCCM and SCOM.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering insights and support to the entire spectrum of Workspace technology and application systems stack including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange on-prem, Active Directory on-prem, Cisco Ironport, Proofpoint, SharePoint, Intune/BlackBerry UEM/Dynamics, SCOM, SCCM, ActiveRoles Server, Quest Analytics and any future workspace technology products or services, on-prem or Cloud. 

  • Manage Workspace related projects owning the overall delivery and adheres to PMO governance framework. 

  • Ensure proactive monitoring of all Workspace systems and diligently identify legacy issues and weaknesses before they manifest into audit issues or business impact. 

  • Actively seek to innovate and devise practical solutions to meet business requirements and improve existing technologies, support models and business workflows. 

  • Ensure the healthiness and robustness of Workspace systems in providing business agility, stability and continuity. 

  • Establish OLA with the Technology Operations teams so as to ensure the supportability of Workspace systems. 

  • Devise and maintain a set of KPIs for measuring and tracking Workspace systems performance and present these in management reports. 

  • Uphold and continually evolve the Configuration and Security Control (CSC) framework to ensure conformance to standards and security baseline. 

  • Ensure all IT security baselines are met and any non-conformances are effectively identified, reported and rectified. 

  • Coordinate impact assessment, issues troubleshooting, service restoration and root cause analysis pertaining to Workspace systems. 

  • Provide Level-3 escalation support in relation to Workspace production systems and participate in cross team incident management forums. 

  • Document the design and implementation record of Workspace systems in a structured and consistent manner so that Technology Operations teams can consume accordingly. 

  • Ensure full compliance of Workspace platforms with all regulatory requirements applicable in countries where the firm operates. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor or above degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline. 

  • Minimum 10 years of technical hands-on experience in digital workspace technology space. 

  • Strong hands-on practical experience in Workspace products and application stack mentioned in Job Responsibilities. 

  • Proven track records of effective implementation and administration of IT systems with focus on digital workspace related systems. 

  • Demonstrable action taker attitude and responsiveness to business requests. 

  • Demonstrable pragmatic and agile mindset that prudently drives changes. 

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills. 

  • Proven track records of IT incident and disaster situation handling.  

  • Excellent communication (Email, phone, IM) and verbal presentation skills in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). 

  • Team player, good personality and motivation. 

  • Microsoft MCSE or MCP will be an advantage. 

  • Investment bank or regulated industry experience will be an advantage.
