Position Summary
The ACS Front Desk Administrative Assistant provides first-point-of-contact customer service for Army Community Services (ACS). This role delivers professional administrative, scheduling, and customer support to Soldiers, Families, DoD Civilians, and community members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in and telephonic customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Identify customer needs and refer clients to appropriate ACS offices or installation agencies
- Maintain the Client Tracking System (CTS) by recording daily customer interactions
- Maintain and update the ACS master calendar, including classroom and facility reservations
- Maintain daily customer sign-in sheets and archive records monthly
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all customer interactions
- Submit required reports and archived documentation in accordance with COR guidance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in administrative support or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Security Requirements
- Ability to obtain U.S. installation access
- Favorable background check required
- Completion of required Army-mandated trainings (AT Level I, OPSEC, iWATCH, etc.)
