About the role

Personal Trainer (Part-Time) | Springfield, MA | Corporate Fitness Setting

HealthFitness is hiring part-time Personal Trainers (20 hours/week) to support overflow training demand at a corporate fitness center in Springfield, MA. This is a great opportunity to build your client base in a professional, on-site setting with consistent weekday availability.

Schedule & Availability:

  • Primary shifts: Monday–Thursday, onsite between 6:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Option to extend training hours 5:00–6:00 AM or 5:00–7:00 PM when the fitness center is unstaffed
  • Most requested training times: early mornings (before 8:30 AM) and late afternoons (3:30–5:30 PM)

Responsible for designing customized workout programs and training members based on their needs. Responsible for conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training to members, and educating them about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
  • Current Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Compensation: Commission-based position. Pay is dependent on service packages. This position also offers a separate floor rate of between $15-$20/hr (dependent on experience and qualifications).
