The Product Management Assistant (Cake Product Specialist) supports the development and performance of cake, cookie, and dessert products, helping define the company’s innovation standards across diverse markets. This role works closely with Product Managers to maintain existing product lines and assist in the development of new offerings. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely execution of projects.
This is a full-time, seasonal (temporary) position at the clerk level. Employment is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of November 2026, at which time the assignment will conclude. This position is strictly temporary and does not guarantee continued employment beyond the stated end date.
The role is scheduled for five (5) days per week, in-office, with standard working hours of approximately 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The position reports directly to the Bread Product Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Product Managers in maintaining and improving existing products
- Assist in the development and launch of new cake and dessert products
- Coordinate communication across cross-functional teams (marketing, culinary, operations, etc.)
- Analyze product performance data and prepare reports
- Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Execute assigned tasks including reporting, documentation, and presentations
- Contribute to product innovation aligned with company standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
