Job Skills / Requirements

Responsibilities of School Custodian/Janitor:   

• Clean and restock restrooms
• Empty trash receptacles
• Wipe down hard surfaces
• Sweep, mop floors
• Clean interior windows/doors

Requirements of School Custodian/Janitor:   

• No Experience, No Problem!
• This position is on call only! No guarantee about the number of hours each week. Will cover open positions & call ins as needed.
• Willing to work at any school within the account.
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
• Must have reliable transportation
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK & Fingerprinting

    

Standard Shift Times: 4:00pm to 8:00pm or 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday (20 total hours per week) 

    

Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
