Utilizing sound judgment and effective problem-solving techniques, you will provide support to both faculty and students. In this advisory role, you will assist prospective students by guiding them through prerequisite and preadmission coursework, explaining the application process, and answering general inquiries regarding programs, admissions, and instructional procedures.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Works in close cooperation with respected departments and assist with specific needs.
- Attends to clerical detail utilizing initiative, problem solving techniques, good judgement, and confidentiality.
- Composes and create correspondence, content, forms, etc. as instructed by department personnel.
- Operates a personal computer and uses various software applications and other office equipment to complete required tasks efficiently.
- Prepares and maintains confidential files under the direction college policy and program supervisors.
- Assists in required collegiate paperwork for student registration, grading, progress tracking, graduation, etc.
- Assist with student completion, placement, and licensure within accreditation standards.
- Compiles and trends data reported to internal departments and external agencies.
- Attends and prepares minutes for staff meetings, advisory committee meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
- Creates, formats, and maintains a wide range of reports and documents.
- Assists prospective students through the application and registration processes, answering questions regarding the programs.
- Orders office, laboratory and programmatic supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Assists with and/or leads special projects, including accreditation preparation, reports, evaluations, etc.
- Receives incoming calls, answers questions, takes messages, and routes calls to appropriate faculty.
- Demonstrates poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ensures that a positive image is promoted both within and outside the college.
- Assists with technical writing and the organization of special projects.
- Assists in program events, activities, and graduations as needed.
- Excellent organizational, grammatical, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
