Full timeRole Summary
In the role of AI Architect, you are responsible for the initiation, design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions across the SDS Contract Logistics operations in Europe.The role focuses on analysing existing operational processes and data landscapes to identify improvement opportunities, redesign processes where appropriate, and translate business requirements into scalable and value-driven AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Metrics
- Develop robust business cases supported by data-driven insights
- Quantify benefits across efficiency, service quality, and cost optimization
- Leverage data management and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to support decision-making
2. Landscape Setting
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Operations, IT, and Management to ensure alignment
- Drive fast and effective implementation of AI-enabled initiatives
- Engage with operational teams to support adoption and integration into daily processes
3. Functional Design Management
- Define and document detailed functional designs for selected solutions
- Contribute to technical design and development where applicable
- Lead internal process improvement initiatives and monitor performance
- Report activities, deviations, and improvement opportunities to management
4. Project Leadership
- Lead implementation, change management, and ongoing support of AI solutions
- Promote behavioral change to enable continuous improvement
- Manage and support multiple AI-related projects
5. Communication & Engagement
- Prepare and deliver AI awareness reports to the Head of Innovation
- Communicate project progress and requirements to local operations teams
- Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure teams and external AI solution providers
- Maintain active communication with Korean HQ to enhance internal AI tools
- Share updates and insights with super users and senior management to ensure alignment
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience
Proven experience working with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems
3–5 years of experience in a logistics engineering or AI engineering role
Solid understanding of workflow automation tools and technologies
Professional proficiency in English
Advanced skills in MS Office applications
Willingness to travel up to 10%
