Position Overview:

The Temporary IT Asset Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the IT stockroom, ensuring all assets are accurately accounted for, and supporting the overall IT asset management process. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential in handling multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Stockroom: Keep the stockroom organized and ensure all items are properly stored and labeled.
  • Weekly ServiceNow Stockroom Audit: Conduct weekly audits of the stockroom using ServiceNow to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Weekly Peripheral and Computer Count: Perform weekly counts of peripherals and computers to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Document, Count, and Locate Accessories: Keep detailed records of all accessories, including their locations and quantities.
  • E-Recycle and Asset Recovery: Manage the e-recycling process and recover assets as needed.
  • Ship Equipment: Prepare and ship equipment to various locations as required.
  • Dispose Outdated/Unused Equipment: Identify and dispose of outdated or unused equipment in accordance with company policies.
  • Monthly Bulk Ordering: Handle the monthly bulk ordering of equipment and peripherals to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Imaging Laptops: Image laptops for deployment to end-users.
  • Handle Request Tickets: Manage and fulfill request tickets for peripherals and other IT equipment.
  • Develop and Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT asset management processes, ensuring clarity and consistency across all procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate, with some college experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT asset management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using asset management software, such as ServiceNow.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of e-recycling and asset recovery processes.
  • Experience with imaging laptops and handling IT equipment requests.

Your role as an IT Asset Analyst is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT asset management processes. Your contributions will help maintain an organized and efficient stockroom, support the timely deployment of IT equipment, and ensure accurate inventory records.

 

Position Duration & Employment Status:
This role is classified as a temporary position. While there is a possibility of conversion to a regular, full-time role based on individual performance, business conditions, and organizational needs, there is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the initial assignment.
