Elev8 Recovery Center is looking for a Full Time Operations Lead in our Harlem location. Elev8 Recovery Center is a cutting edge substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment center that has partnered with DailyPay for same day access to funds! Employees no longer have to wait until pay day to get their earnings. We are located in Harlem, NY. We are an OASAS-licensed and CARF-certified Center of Excellence. Elev8 Recovery Center offers inpatient detox, withdrawal, and stabilization services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorder. The Operations Lead coordinates and provides safety and housing needs of our patients and oversees patients participation in our interdepartmental schedule and workflow of the building.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a mentor to Patient Care Coordinators by providing guidance and continued support, especially when it comes to necessary patient interventions, workflow interruptions, and or de-escalation techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring timely discharge of patients, including securing patients’ personal property and medications.
- Monitor the emotional and behavioral climate on the various units and take proactive measures to maintain a healthy environment amongst patients.
- Responsible for ensuring the daily tasks of Patient Care Coordinators (including but not limited to completing rounds, room checks, room assignments, census counts, and required documentation) are carried out accordingly.
- Responsible for ensuring Patient Care Coordinators’ required documentation (room checks, incident reports, shift reports, round logs, etc.) is thorough, timely, and in compliance.
- Search patient packages received in the mail to ensure no contraband is present
- Responsible for overseeing and effectively communicating new admissions, changes in census, leaves of absences, and discharges.
- Takes the lead on managing patients with special needs (e.g., mobility issues, psychiatric risk) in collaboration with the Nursing Department.
- Act as the Lead designated staff member for new Patient Care Coordinators to shadow during their orientation period.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field (Chemical Dependency, Mental Health, etc.)
- Supervisory experience preferred
- CRPA, Recovery Coach or Peer Specialist certification are preferred
SKILLS:
- Familiar with rules and regulations regarding client confidentiality/HIPAA
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Independently solve problems and follow through
