BioGro, Inc. is a manufacturer and an information leader in crop fertility. We manufacture Humic and Fulvic acid products, NPK blends, and three complete lines of trace minerals (soil, foliar, and organic). We also manufacture many fertilizer products which stimulate root growth, photosynthesis, flowering seed development, overall plant growth, and nutrient uptake. Our administrative office and manufacturing plant have been in Washington since 2004, and we have warehouses in Washington (HQ), California, Arizona, and Wisconsin. BioGro, Inc produces over 125 formulas and formulations at our plant for growers nationwide and several companies use our products to enhance their own product lines.
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for entry-level production activities in the chemical, humic or fermentation production areas of the facility as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Screening Lignite, Washing Totes, Handling Waste Water, Toting Product, Jugging Product, repairing totes and other duties as assigned. Basic cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and general housekeeping of assigned work areas is required. Working with Leads and Operators, the production will follow all safety, quality and company policies and exhibit teamwork in the course of carrying out daily activities. Production support is expected to learn about the processes, products, ingredients, safety practices and quality requirements as they work in different areas of the plant.
Related skills such as operation of lift trucks and other heavy equipment, familiarity with lab equipment and processes, basic maintenance and trouble-shooting skills, knowledge of safety practices and spill response during plant operations and chemical/humic production is preferred.

Ability to keep a clean and well-organized work area including vehicles, tools, and other equipment up to standard.
Work closely with supervisors, leads, maintenance technicians, company buyers, suppliers, quality control, training departments, and managers.
Ability to read batch sheets and other production documents.
Ability to learn about common materials used in the fertilizer industry.
Ability to work as an individual and in a team setting.
Ability to be certified to operate forklifts, Sky Trak, Bobcat, backhoe, farm tractors, Man Lift, and other plant vehicles as needed.
COMPETENCY/KNOWLEDGE:
Microsoft Office 365 Software (Word, Outlook, Teams)
Knowledge of equipment/machinery (10,000 Reach lift, forklift, pumps, etc). Open for learning, if not already qualified on specific equipment; we can certify after training.
General mechanical skills, equipment being used can and will malfunction, and needs to be diagnosed and fixed.

Gas/Air/Electric pumps, forklifts, ladders, hoses, tractors, skytrek, skyjack, catwalks, general hand tools, agitators, mixers, scales, pH meters, specific gravity cups, valves, camlock couplers,y-strainers, sweecos, and decanters are a good example of everday equipment and machinery you may work with or around on a daily basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is mostly outdoors during all weather conditions, with some indoor work. Work is performed around moving machinery and equipment, noise levels vary depending on what equipment is being worked around.
