Job Description

Anchor Fabrication has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Parts Kitter in our Shipping department. 

 

Position Summary:

The Parts Kitter’s role is to collect and prepare parts and materials for production. The position requires attention to detail as they will use various materials or equipment to meet or exceed customer specs and productivity requirements.  They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued strong national growth.   

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Internal Relationships: All Departments

External Relationships: Occasional and incidental contact with customers or prospective customers

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving, kitting, cycle counting.
  • Use a computer to pull up part numbers.
  • Read, understand, and match component part numbers to work orders and vice versa.
  • Pick components to be welded hand assembled and machine assembled, based upon work order.
  • Report inventory shortages and damaged materials
  • Perform other related duties as instructed.
