What You Will Do




  • Receive, inspect, and store meat properly upon delivery to ensure meat quality.

  • Prepare, stock, cut, weigh, and wrap meat products.

  • Maintain the organization, rotation, and cleanliness of back stock areas.

  • Ensure proper product handling to control shrinkage and waste.

  • Review inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damage.  

  • Assist as needed in the preparation of food products, catering, and special orders.

  • Produce and submit receiving records on a timely basis.

  • Maintain meat products inventory according to anticipated sales and seasonal needs.

  • Perform minor accounting duties.

  • Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.

  • Follow daily cutting lists and complete work in the allotted time.

  • Any other duties assigned by management.
