The Role

As part of building our internal tax function following our transition to a public company, we are hiring a Senior Manager / Director of International Tax to lead and support our global tax activities.

 

This is a hands-on role focused on international tax planning, compliance, and reporting. You will serve as a key technical resource across the tax and finance organization, working closely with Accounting, Finance, Tax Provision, Legal, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and efficient global tax operations.

 

International Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Review and support U.S. international tax reporting, including foreign disclosures and related filings (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, etc.)
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of international tax positions
  • Support global compliance efforts across foreign subsidiaries and jurisdictions

Provision Support & ASC 740 (International Components)

  • Partner closely with the Tax Accounting team on international components of the tax provision under ASC 740
  • Support calculations related to GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, and other international tax attributes
  • Assist with financial reporting and SEC disclosure requirements related to international operations

Global Coordination & Data Management

  • Work directly with foreign subsidiaries to gather and validate financial data required for GAAP reporting and tax calculations
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data used in international tax and provision processes
  • Coordinate across Accounting (AC) and Tax (AT) teams to align reporting and compliance
  • Support international components of the tax provision across a complex, multi-entity global structure

Team Development & Execution

  • Operate as a hands-on contributor while also reviewing work prepared by associates and external providers
  • Train and mentor junior team members and help build internal capability
  • Support the development of scalable processes and documentation as the tax function grows

International Tax Planning & Advisory

  • Provide technical expertise on U.S. international tax matters, including cross-border structuring, M&A, and global expansion
  • Support tax implications of acquisitions post-close, including entity integration and alignment of international structures
  • Analyze and advise on international tax implications of business operations and transactions
  • Monitor global tax law developments and assess impact to the organization

The Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of relevant experience in U.S. international tax (Big 4 and/or multinational corporate environment)
  • CPA or equivalent credentials
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing concepts, etc.)
  • Experience reviewing international components of U.S. tax returns and foreign reporting forms
  • Experience in international tax planning, structuring, and M&A transactions
  • Experience with ASC 740, specifically international aspects of tax provision and reporting
  • Experience working with foreign subsidiaries and managing cross-border data flows
  • Ability to operate in a hands-on, build environment with evolving processes

Preferred

  • Familiarity with global tax reform initiatives (e.g., OECD Pillar Two)

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this role is is $250,500-$334,100. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.
