Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA focused on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and high availability. The role involves supporting production SQL Server environments, proactively identifying performance issues using Idera monitoring tools, and managing Always On Availability Groups to ensure stability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and optimize SQL Server performance using Idera and native SQL tools
  • Perform advanced query and index tuning (execution plans, Query Store, DMVs)
  • Troubleshoot production issues (blocking, deadlocks, performance degradation) at L2/L3 level
  • Administer SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
  • Execute core DBA tasks: backup & recovery, maintenance, patching, upgrades
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term performance improvements
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams and document solutions


Key Skills

  • Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning & troubleshooting
  • Experience with Idera Diagnostic Manager / SQL Diagnostic Manager
  • Solid knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery
  • Analytical mindset, ability to work under pressure, clear communication skills
