Once Upon A Child Newport News is looking for friendly and energetic team members to join our crew.

We offer both full- and part-time opportunities with flexible schedules Monday-Sunday.

Duties will include assisting customers, operating a point of sales system/cash register, tagging merchandise, and stocking racks.

Candidates must be outgoing with a fun personality and have good verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge and the ability to multitask are required.

Previous retail/customer service experience is preferred but not required.

We offer advancement opportunities after successful completion of training for qualified candidates that can lead to positions as buyer, shift leader, merchandiser, and assistant manager.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods

2. Lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted

3. Bending, rotating, and reaching in a retail environment.

Fulltime and parttime positions available

Days and Hours of Work: Rotating flexible schedules Monday-Sunday

Salary: Hourly wage depending on experience.
