Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as General Laborers. In this role, you will be an essential part of our operation, safely handling composite lumber products and ensuring materials meet both customer specifications and company quality standards. This position offers hands‑on experience, skill development, and opportunities to grow within a stable manufacturing environment.
 

Schedule:

  • 12‑hour rotating shift (2‑3‑2 schedule)

  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

  • Alternating weekends

This schedule provides built‑in time off while maintaining consistent full‑time hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move, stack, and secure lumber products and materials according to instructions

  • Stack finished products based on predetermined bundle sizes and customer requirements

  • Label materials accurately, including product type, size, and quantity

  • Apply individual tags to materials before and after treatment/production

  • Use a staple gun and assist with basic equipment troubleshooting

  • Band, bundle, and secure materials, including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks

  • Verify correct quantities and labeling before materials leave the work area

  • Maintain accurate tag inventory and report discrepancies to a supervisor

  • Record production data accurately on production sheets

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

  • Assist in other areas as needed, including moving materials and loading/unloading carts

  • Participate in safety meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and team communications

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support team and department success


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

  • No prior experience required – we are willing to train the right candidate

  • Manufacturing or lumber experience is a plus

  • Basic math skills and attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
