- Establish clear instructional objectives for lessons, units, and activities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that address the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and materials to support student learning
- Meet and instruct classes at scheduled times and locations
- Maintain accurate attendance records and student documentation
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs
- Evaluate student academic and social progress and prepare progress reports as required

- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills

- Valid Colorado Driver's License required

Position Summary
The English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher creates a classroom environment that supports student learning, academic growth, and personal development. The teacher establishes effective relationships with students, parents, and staff while delivering engaging instruction aligned with district curriculum and Colorado academic standards.
The ELA Teacher guides students in developing reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills. Instruction is designed to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students while supporting achievement of state and district standards.
