We are looking to hire a Part Specialist to join our Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for field performance of wide-format equipment throughout the product’s lifecycle. Will work closely with Field Engineers and Service Engineering to deliver timely solutions to our customers.
- Work as an escalation focal point for Field Service personnel for part knowledge related to ongoing reliability, repair, and system integration issues.
- Accountable for service development and delivering Quarterly part forecasting updates of new products or previously commercialized machines as member of Product Life Management teams.
- Review Engineering Change Orders for assigned product(s), identifying and completing service tasks and implementing product retrofit plans.
- Maintain Service Field Part Replacement creation, working closely with different business units to ensure setup, stocking levels and delivery dates meet program timelines.
- Develop part related process improvements to reduce ongoing supply cost.
- Identify opportunities for cross platform component overlaps.
- Co-develop and maintain Service Part KPIs.
- Initiatives as directed by Service Engineering Manager, Director or VP of Worldwide Service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Agile Product Lifecycle Management tools
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Data-driven analysis, problem-solving and decision making skills
- Product Commercialization / Product Life Management understanding
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
