We are looking for a temporary employee this summer for our Wastewater department. Following are examples of duties:

Wastewater Treatment Facility: 

• Assists maintenance and operations staff with preventative work orders and corrective repairs
• Assists plant operators with plant operations when called upon 
• Assist lab staff with sample collection, lab testing, cleaning of glassware, and related lab functions
• Assist building maintenance including cleaning of buildings, washing down tanks, cleaning floors and windows, and pressure washing
• Operates manual and powered grounds keeping equipment at the treatment facility and sludge storage lagoon 

What we need from you:

• You must be enrolled in any higher education learning for the fall semester
• Ability to apply safety precautions and safety equipment on assigned tasks 
• Ability to work well with team members and the public
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must provide safety shoes and work clothing.
• Must be 18 years old to operate equipment due to safety requirements
