Job Summary
Expand Technologies, LLC is seeking a Cabling Technician with a professional appearance, reliable transportation, good communication skills, and willing to learn. Work is Monday through Friday with occasional overtime/ Weekend/ Night work. Pay depends on experience. Requires clean driving record and dependable operational vehicle. 

Responsibilities 
· Install network solutions in a variety of commercial environments.
· Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot all category copper cable.
· Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot multi & single-mode fiber optic cable.
· Dress & terminate distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
· Install support structures (ladder racking, equipment racks, j-hooks, ceiling hanger rods, etc.)
· Installation of A/V and CCTV surveillance systems.
· Service calls for break fixes, moves, and changes

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an IT Technician or an IT Certification is preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of data privacy and security 
Job Requirements:
Must be competent in this field, self-motivated, and dependable. Must be a team player who is able to exercise discretion, good judgement and maintain confidentiality. Must have ability to work independently and display verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to safely climb up ladders, get into small confined spaces, and lift 50+ pounds. Must have or be willing to acquire tools of the trade.
