Who we are looking for:
The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit with the financial institution to determine the risk involved.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to identify the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit
- Compare financial data to similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability and credit histories
- Compile information, complete loan applications, and compose reports detailing the degree of risk involved in the loan or credit request and make recommendations
- Ensure loan requests are prioritized and deadlines are consistently met
- Prepare and present credit reports
- Provide accurate information and sound judgment on the credit worthiness of assigned accounts
- Ensure all loans are made in adherence with federal, state and local financial regulations
- Participates in community activities to promote the organization
- Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform every other duty as assigned
What you’ll need to be successful:

- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality

- Must be analytical and have creative thinking
- Must be approachable and present a positive attitude
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of progressive credit experience
