BEEP RISE PRE-K TEACHER, ESY PROGRAM

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

To plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

• Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills, information, and behaviors per IEP


• Supervision of paraprofessionals


• Coordination of related service support


• Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers


• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

 

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

 

• MASS DESE certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities, PreK-8, required


• Teaching experience with students on the autism spectrum and/or developmental disabilities

 

Schedule:

• July 6th- August 13th, 2026


• 9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday


• Additional 30 minutes per day for planning


• All staff report for full day on July 6th for orientation and classroom set up/ students begin July 7th 


• One additional day to be completed by the end of the program for progress writing
