Overview
TDW is seeking an HRIS Analyst with Workday experience to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a key hands‑on part in supporting and enhancing our HR technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday Core HCM and related configurations.
The HRIS Analyst partners closely with HR, Leaders, and IT to translate business needs into effective system solutions. While this role does not carry senior‑level ownership, it requires strong technical configuration skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to support system stability, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Configuration & Support
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, including business processes, workflows, condition rules, validations, and security roles
Provide day‑to‑day HRIS support and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of system issues
Support Workday releases by testing functionality, assessing impacts, and assisting with deployment activities
Conduct regular audits and data reviews to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance
Partnership & Delivery
Partner with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable Workday solutions
Collaborate with IT on integrations, data flows, and system stability
Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing HRIS expertise and configuration support
Contribute to backlog management by identifying enhancements, defects, and optimization opportunities
Process Improvement & Documentation
Support continuous improvement efforts across HR systems, processes, and user experience
Develop and maintain system documentation, job aids, and process guides
Assist with user training and adoption efforts to promote effective use of Workday
Reporting & Analytics
Build and maintain standard and ad‑hoc Workday reports to support business and compliance needs
Provide analytical support to HR partners as needed
Take on additional responsibilities as the HR systems landscape evolves
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience working with HRIS/HCM systems
Hands‑on Workday configuration experience (Core HCM required)
Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or process improvements
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
3–5 years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Workday
Exposure to additional Workday modules (e.g., Compensation, Learning, Talent & Performance)
Experience supporting HR processes such as employee lifecycle events, job changes, or compensation cycles
Experience working in a matrixed or evolving organization
Skills & Abilities
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to translate business requirements into system configuration
Collaborative, customer‑focused approach to problem solving
Comfortable working through ambiguity with guidance and support
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
Strong Excel skills (advanced preferred)
