Position Summary
As a Global Development Specialist, you will support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring AX Beauty’s portfolio remains competitive, innovative, and aligned with evolving market trends. This role is responsible for executing and coordinating development activities from initial concept through commercialization, partnering cross-functionally to drive timely, cost-effective product launches.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all new products meet brand standards, consumer expectations, and business objectives- while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the Global Development Manager in the development of new products from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines, budget and objectives are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure all stakeholders identify sample objectives and understand key project plan deliverables
- Supports the maintenance of project plan through Monday.com, identifies resource needs, management of project schedules and milestones to ensure on time execution and delivery of product programs
- Help support the management of multiple development projects simultaneously adjusting priorities as needed. Works proactively to communicate and solve challenges that occur throughout the projects
- Provide regular updates and reports to Global Development Manager and Senior Management on cost improvements and new product development programs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Works with suppliers to develop and ensure timely delivery of engineering samples, pre-production samples and production samples
- Help develop product specifications, component standards, build and validate BOM’s, and fill and assembly instructions
- Data entry into program cost sheet to ensure margin targets are met and properly communicated to business stakeholders
- Support product and customer compliance – product/labeling/package
- Support dual / multiple sourcing efforts for assigned projects at the lowest total acquisition cost and lead or support Global Development Manager to achieve identified targets
- Report and address supplier performance issues promptly to Global Development Manager
- Help monitor quality control processes to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the quality assurance/regulatory team to establish and maintain product quality standards
- Attend and participate in both internal & external business partner meetings
- Provide support across additional projects and initiatives as needed
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or a combination of Education and Relevant Experience
- 2-4 years proven experience in sourcing, packaging development, and/or project management, preferably with a focus in the beauty industry
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Highly skilled in time management
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Work Environment
This position is a regular full-time position in an office and/or home office environment. Working overtime may be required to meet the demands and deadlines associated with the position. Occasional travel by plane and/or car may be required.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $67k-$70k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
