Manages purchasing systems and continuous improvement projects. Promotes a disciplined operational culture and develops improvement strategies to support business objectives. Works cross-functionally to plan, execute, and sustain improvements in business processes.

Key Responsibilities & Main Activities

  • The Manufacturing Engineer’s main responsibility is to analyze production process and product requirements, determining the most efficient operations based on those requirements.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes.
  • Develop efficient automated and non-automated systems.
  • Test existing and new production procedures.
  • Support the implementation of manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products.
  • Knowledge of tooling design and manufacturing methods.
  • Project management capability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards (environmental analysis).
  • Ensure production lines operate efficiently and effectively to meet customer requirements.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as efficiency and speed.
  • Analyze machine and production requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and maximize quality.
  • Train personnel on current and new processes.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Update systems and processes with new technologies.
  • Manage Oracle systems.
  • Interpret customer drawings and specification requirements.
  • Verify circuit dimensions during first-piece production.
  • Verify material quantities in Oracle against engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of wire harness manufacturing from wire stamping to final inspection.
  • Create production documentation and improve processes.
  • Review board drawings against engineering prints.
  • Design FMEAs.
  • Analyze and develop work instructions, manuals, and documentation for new equipment prior to launch and production use.

Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in operations management.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of measurement instruments.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of IATF standards.
  • Core Tools knowledge.
  • Experience in Lean project evaluation.
  • Project management skills.

Verbal Skills

  • English proficiency- Advance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the organization.
  • Ability to generate reports and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to employee questions.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • AutoCAD.
