About the Department
Monitors safety and patron participation facility & membership services in accordance with established policy and procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with exercise of judgment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques.
This position is a seasonal position.
Position Duties
- Oversees the conduct and behavior of facility program patrons and ensures safety of participants.
- Works cooperatively with team and front desk to meet established facility/program/service goals.
- Creates a learning environment that promotes sportsmanship and team atmosphere.
- Assists with facility cleanliness, appearance and reporting maintenance needs.
- Ensures safe and proper use of equipment and materials.
- Communicates effectively and efficiently with Recreation Management Team.
- Provides high stand of customer service to patron members and guests including program and member registration and folowing established cash handling procedures.
- Participates in the daily operations of assigned facility which may include organizing equipment, setting up facilities for classes and events, cleaning public areas, monitor/supervising activity areas including open sports, fitness and playroom.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
Other Qualifications
Must possess current certification in First Aid and CPR or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
