Now Hiring Personal Care Aides and Home Health Aides - On Call / To Start ASAP

Service Areas Work Near You:

We are hiring caregivers in and around Newark, Clifton, Bloomfield, Woodland Park, East Orange, Montclair, Glen Ridge, Lyndhurst, Kearny, Jersey City, Rutherford, Passaic, North Arlington, East Rutherford, North Bergen, Secaucus, Carlstadt, Belleville, Nutley, and across Hudson County.

Schedule and Availability:

  • Flexible shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours

  • High demand for morning shifts

  • Availability for last-minute and immediate start cases

  • Weekday availability preferred

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Providing meaningful companionship and emotional support to clients.

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping.

  • Assisting with meal preparation in line with client preferences and dietary needs.

  • Offering timely medication reminders in accordance with care plans.

  • Supporting with laundry, ironing, and general home organization.

  • Assisting with errands such as grocery shopping and accompanying clients to appointments when needed.

  • Performing other related duties as needed to support client care and well-being.

What We’re Looking For in You

  • First Aid/CPR certified, or willing to obtain certification.

  • A natural ability to build warm, professional, and compassionate relationships with clients and their families.

  • Hands-on experience providing personal care in a home or community-based setting.

  • Confidence assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.

  • Experience supporting seniors or individuals with memory-related conditions (e.g., dementia, Alzheimer’s) is a plus.

  • Flexibility to support a range of care needs, including short-term, long-term, and last-minute assignments.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to follow care plans and respect family preferences.

  • Dependability, punctuality, and a strong sense of accountability for scheduled shifts.

  • A genuine passion for providing companionship and emotional support.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
