What You’ll Be Contributing:

This role is ideal for someone with technical knowledge of IT Servers, network equipment, troubleshooting skills, and a meticulous approach to documentation and communication.

A key responsibility of this position is the testing and validation of server and enterprise-grade computer products. You will ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of performance, compatibility, and reliability. You will also be a central point of contact for both vendors and customers, providing support with urgency and professionalism.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues across desktops, servers, networking gear, and related IT equipment;
  • Test and validate server and enterprise-grade computer products for performance, stability, and compatibility;
  • Conduct structured product evaluations and root cause analysis;
  • Communicate with vendors and customers to coordinate technical support and solutions;
  • Maintain and document the lifecycle of IT assets, including setup, deployment, and ongoing maintenance;
  • Keep detailed, structured documentation of issues, discoveries, fixes, and procedures;
  • Support Linux-based systems including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
  • Stay current on hardware trends; able to effectively adopt and work with new products within a single release cycle;
  • Deliver responsive, customer-focused support with a problem-solving mindset and sense of urgency.

 

What Sets You Apart:

  • Proven experience in diagnosing and supporting computer hardware and IT infrastructure;
  • Strong background in Workstation, Server and enterprise system testing and validation;
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a customer-first approach;
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to thorough documentation;
  • Proficient in Linux environments;
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware support and infrastructure roles;
  • Familiarity with enterprise-class hardware platforms (servers, storage systems, networking equipment);
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer hardware-related field preferred; college diploma with a hardware specialization will also be considered;
  • Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Server+, Linux+, or similar) are a plus.
