What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues
- Perform repairs to restore system performance and efficiency
- Build clear, accurate quotes for recommended services
- Educate customers on HVAC systems and product options
- Deliver top-notch customer service with every interaction
What Success Looks Like
- Follow instructions and directions of the Installation Manager in a timely and accurate manner
- Adhere to best practices by following safety rules, maintaining safe work habits, utilizing appropriate safety equipment, and reporting unsafe conditions
- Follow company policies related to customer relations, quality control, conduct in customers’ homes, appearance, driver safety, fleet maintenance, dispatch, and communication
- Ensure company property, tools, vehicles, and equipment are used, maintained, and accounted for properly and on time
- Complete all documentation in a neat, accurate, complete, and timely manner
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business activities
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role that requires:
- Working in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)
- Prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, and crawling
- Climbing ladders and working at heights
- Working in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds independently
- Flexibility to maneuver in tight spaces
- Working in noisy environments near moving mechanical parts
- Using hands and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate equipment
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of residential HVAC experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license that meets insurance requirements
- Professional, positive interaction with customers
- Strong willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Certifications
- EPA Section 608 Certification (or willingness to obtain—we’ll help you get there!)
