Are you passionate about helping others turn their lives around? At Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI), we’ve been pioneering community-based services for over 50 years, working to empower individuals and families involved in the justice system. Our focus is on promoting responsible citizenship, accountability, and well-being. Join us in this meaningful mission and be part of a trauma-informed organization that puts the safety, trust, and empowerment of both clients and staff at the forefront.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intervention Specialist to join our team. The AIC, or Alternative in the Community program is a community based alternative to incarceration and provides multifaceted intervention services for offenders awaiting trial, or who are on probation or parole.  The program uses Motivational Interviewing techniques and curricula-drive, evidence-based models designed to assess the needs of each client to reduce individual risk factors.

As an Intervention Specialist for our organization, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals in need of assistance. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective intervention strategies that will help our clients achieve their goals. Your main objective will be to provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients, while also promoting their independence and self-sufficiency

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare, plan and facilitate individual and group sessions with integrity and fidelity to curriculum/manual as scheduled.

  • Actively participate in Service Team Meetings by presenting new client assessments, clients nearing completion of service, any clients with poor attendance or participation and presenting any new cycles that clients can be placed in. Provide and elicit peer support for client issues as needed.

  • Register for and attend all required trainings and refreshers including but not limited to MI and group facilitation.

  • Document the group and individual sessions into both CSI and CSSD data collection systems on the same day the information is received.

  • Secure urines from same sex clients and complete all required paper work and electronic documentation into CSI and CSSD data collection systems on the day the data is obtained.

  • Monitor case load to ensure all urines and breathalyzes required are randomly requested and are secured.

  • May be required to perform tasks carried out by the Case Manger as directed.

  • Provide coverage of front desk duties as assigned.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by the Agency’s programs, policies, procedures and code of ethics.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
