Job Description

The Assistant Security Supervisor supports the Security Supervisor in maintaining a safe and secure environment by overseeing security personnel and operations. This role involves assisting with scheduling, training, and supervising security staff, as well as responding to incidents and emergencies. They conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and enforce security policies and procedures.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Oversee the safety and security of the facility, ensuring the well-being of staff, tenants, and guests.
  • Supervise and assess the performance of all security personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by monitoring security officers' activities.
  • Collaborate with the Security Manager and Regional Manager to recruit, train, and develop security personnel.
  • Manage scheduling effectively to ensure adequate security coverage that meets the needs of the facility.
  • Assist in maintaining and processing detailed weekly reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse groups.
  • Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strategic thinker with the capability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or management is preferred.
  • Clean criminal background and ability to pass a drug screening.
