Trinity Power is a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization providing temporary power solutions for industrial applications across Canada and the United States.
We are seeking a highly driven Strategic National Account Manager to lead business development efforts across the data center, utilities, and mining sectors in Canada. This position will entail 25-50% travel based on business needs.
This role is primarily focused on market expansion, customer acquisition, and long-term account development. The successful candidate will identify and pursue major projects, establish Trinity Power as an approved vendor, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers across target industries.
You will play a critical role in positioning Trinity Power as the go-to temporary power partner for large-scale and mission-critical operations.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across data centers, utilities, and mining sectors throughout Canada
- Build and execute strategic plans to penetrate key accounts and regions
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with company growth objectives
- Actively pursuing vendor approvals and pre-qualification with major organizations
Strategic Account Management
- Establish and grow relationships with decision-makers, including procurement, operations, and project leadership teams
- Position Trinity Power as a trusted partner through consistent engagement and value-driven communication
- Manage long sales cycles and complex deal structures across multiple stakeholders
- Expand existing accounts by identifying new project opportunities
Industry Engagement & Intelligence
- Representing Trinity Power at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Monitor market trends, project pipelines, and competitor activity within target sectors
- Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to leadership and sales teams
- Identify emerging opportunities in infrastructure, energy, and resource sectors
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Inside Sales, Operations, and Technical Teams to support opportunity development
- Ensure clear communication of customer requirements to support accurate proposals and project execution
- Collaborate on pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and deal structuring
- Work to identify promoting other services within the organization
Key Accountabilities
- Drive measurable growth in new customer acquisition and revenue within assigned verticals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline activity in CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Consistently meet or exceed business development targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts across Canada

Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or account management
- Ability to travel up to 50% for business needs
- Proven track record of winning new business and developing key accounts in one or more of the following sectors:
- Data centers
- Utilities / energy
- Mining / industrial
- Experience selling capital equipment, industrial services, or rental solutions is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor qualification requirements
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Existing network within Canadian data center, utility, or mining sectors
Preferred (Not Required)
- Familiarity with temporary power, generators, load banks or industrial electrical systems
- Experience working in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment
Additional Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Canada
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours as required to support client needs
