Job Description

Clyde & Co seeks a Docket Clerk with 3 - 5 years of docketing experience to support our east coast offices. As a Docket Clerk, you will play a critical role in tracking important legal and filing deadlines for designated clients and cases, managing and reviewing records, entering schedules and deadlines into the calendar, and generating reports detailing action times and due dates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain docket and calendar system for multiple legal teams
  • Generate and distribute weekly docket reports
  • Calendar deadlines for filings in docketing software
  • Review & save incoming filings from various sources
  • Assist paralegals with preparing documents for filing with various courts
  • Prepare and distribute calendar updates to attorneys and legal staff
  • Assist with mailing/scanning
  • Perform administrative duties as needed

Experience

3-5 years of docketing experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience using CourtAlert and CourtLink
  • Experience using CompuLaw is required
  • A strong knowledge of court procedures, regulations and legal regulations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks, with excellent time management skills to complete projects in a timely fashion
  • Above all, possess the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information

Education

High school diploma or GED required

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
