Position: Warehouse Worker

Position Type: Part-time (Existing Vacancy)

Location: Fredericton, NB

The Opportunity: 

Postmedia Distribution is looking for flexible, hardworking individuals to join our growing team!

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Part time Overnight Position, 25 hours per week, 5 days a week - 2 AM - 7AM
  • Sorting newspapers/parcels for delivery (7 days a week operation)
  • Working with a team to unload and load trucks/trailers
  • Reading manifest and ensuring the correct product gets to the correct Courier
  • Clean up and other cleaning duties as required
  • Responsible for dock safety of yourself and keeping the environment safe for others

 

Who you are: 

  • Warehouse experience considered an asset
  • Must be able to perform manual labor type of work and lift up to 50 lb
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Able to communicate effectively in often-noisy surroundings

 

Responsible for proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.

 

Compensation: 

Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location. 

Base Salary: $16 per hour
