Job Description:
SCOPE: The Senior Specialty Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the execution, operational performance, and staff leadership of Specialty Pharmacy services across the State of Louisiana. This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and efficient operations aligned with enterprise strategy, payer requirements, and regulatory standards. The role is accountable for executing approved initiatives, maintaining operational alignment, and elevating items requiring strategic, financial, or formulary decision-making to appropriate leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. preferred).
Advanced training in business, public health, health administration, pharmacy administration, or completion of an administrative residency or specialized training in oncology/specialty pharmacy.(preferred)
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state.
PIC licensure
Comprehensive understanding of infusion & oncology pharmacy.
Ability to develop and integrate innovative pharmaceutical care services.
Previous managerial experience required
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Cleanroom procedures and USP 797 & 800.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
Commitment to the principles of pharmaceutical care and alignment with the Director of Pharmacy’s goals.
